Top 12 Best Pod Vape Kits on the Market

Uwell Caliburn G2 and GK2

The Uwell Caliburn G2 pod kit offers many upgrades on the original Caliburn G, including revolutionary vibration interaction, delivered in a sleek pocket friendly device. The vibration interaction delivers haptic feedback to the users through different vibrate patterns notifying the user of short-circuit, low voltage, overdraws etc. The top fill pod features progressive airflow adjustment allowing the user to get their ideal draw.

The kit comes with a 1.2Ω and a 0.8Ω coil. The 1.2Ω coil delivers a low temperature tight draw with a low density cloud on release of the vapour. Whereas the 0.8Ω coil gives a higher temperature highly flavoursome medium-tight draw with a high density cloud on release.

The kit features a 750mah battery which is likely to last you a full day of vaping on the go. The G2 kit is really easy to use offering both draw activation, by simply inhaling on the mouthpiece, or button activation, by pressing down on the power button for an instant hit.

The Uwell Caliburn GK2 uses the same top fill pods and coils as the G2, delivering a very similar hit. The only differences are heavily design orientated, taking a similar shape to the Caliburn KOKO and AK2 with an interesting futuristic, cyberpunk design. The battery is slightly smaller than the G2 at 690mah although still very capable of lasting you a full day of vaping.

Overall, these two kits are a great starting point for any new vapers as they a very simple to use and very lightweight and discreet making them easily portable. However, there are two more kits from Caliburn which make vaping even simpler.

Uwell Caliburn A2 and AK2

The Caliburn A2 and AK2 are closed pod systems meaning the coil is closed within the pod and cannot be removed. This gives the advantage of not having to faff around changing coils. When a coil starts to burn and needs replacing, simply put in a new pod.

The pod is top fill and features a 0.9Ω coil with anti-leaking technology. The 0.9Ω coil delivers a flavoursome, slightly warm hit with a medium-tight draw. It is recommended you shouldn’t inhale too hard on the mouthpiece as this can cause leaking.

The Caliburn A2 slim, stick like shape is similar to the G2 and offers both draw activation, by simply inhaling on the mouthpiece, or button activation, by pressing down on the power button for an instant hit. The battery capacity is smaller than the G2 offering 520mah which may fall short of lasting a full day of vaping. However, the USB-C charging allows for a super fast charge getting the battery to 90% in around 35 to 45 minutes.

The Caliburn AK2 has a squarer shape similar to the KOKO and GK2, although, very thin and lightweight still making it very portable and discreet. The kit also comes with a lanyard you can attach keeping the device secure even when hands free. The battery capacity on this device is the same 520mah featured in the A2 and offers the same 15w output. The device only features draw-activation and delivers the same hit as the A2 as they use the same pods.

These two kits are the simplest refillable pod systems around. There is no easier way to vape your own liquids and still deliver a great hit and flavour.
