Big Puff Vapes
Are big puff disposable vapes legal?
While many large-capacity disposable vapes are illegal, such as the Elux 3500 and Crystal Pro Max, there have been some ingenious product designs that allow for certain devices to be TPD compliant and therefore completely legal to buy and sell in the UK. Two main types of big puff disposable vapes are legal in the UK; multi-pod designs and separate 10ml pod designs.
Using multiple separate pods or allowing a bottle of vape juice to be inserted into the device allows for these large "puff" counts.

Multi Pod Disposables
The IVG 2400, Happy Vibes disposable vapes and the SKE Crystal 4 in 1 all utilise the multi-pod design. The devices contain 4 separate 2ml pods, each providing up to 600 puffs from each pod meaning each device contains up to 2400 puffs.
The pods can all be the same flavour or you can buy these devices with mixed flavours meaning each 2ml pod contains a different flavour. You can twist the device to select the pod of your choice, either when the pod is empty or when you feel like a change of flavour.
Both the IVG 2400 and the Happy Vibes have large-capacity batteries that will power the device until all the pods have run out so no charging is required. The only drawback is these devices are quite large, enough to accommodate the 4 separate pods and the large battery. The SKE Crystal 4in1 utilises a smaller battery with Type-C USB charging.
Separate E-Liquid Pod Disposables
The Elf Bar AF5000, Instafill 3500 and Snowplus Clic 5000 utilise separate 10ml vape juice pods that connect to the device and feed the juice into the device. Since the e-liquid pod does not contain a coil or heating element these pods are allowed to contain up to 10ml of e-liquid (just like a regular bottle of e-liquid). These devices all contain a USB Type-C charge port that allows you to quickly recharge the batteries when they run low. The advantage of this is the devices are smaller than the multi-pod design disposables and are not much larger than 600-puff disposable vapes or pod-style refillable vapes kits.

Conclusion
Large capacity 'big puff' disposable vapes offer ease and convenience while also being more environmentally friendly than regular 600 puff vapes with the largest being a 10000+ puffs disposable vape. Once set up, there is no refilling or coil changes required and you simply dispose of the device when empty.
Since the battery is used to vaporise more e-liquid than a regular disposable and lasts far longer, the environmental impact is reduced. However, for a device that is both cheaper to run and more environmentally sound, we would always recommend a refillable and rechargeable vape kit such as a pod kit or pen kit paired with a disposable vape-flavoured e-liquid.
