OXVA Anti-Burn Technology – How Does It Work?

One of the most significant upgrades on the XLIM Pro 4 is OXVA Anti-Burn Technology (ABT), which uses smart liquid-level detection to monitor the e-liquid remaining in the pod.

When the device detects that the e-liquid is too low, it automatically stops firing and displays a refill alert. This helps prevent the coil from running dry, reducing the risk of an unpleasant burnt taste and potentially extending the useful life of the pod.

Once you've refilled the cartridge, you can continue vaping without needing to replace a coil that has been damaged by a dry hit.

Important: Anti-Burn protection requires both an ABT-enabled device and an XLIM ABT cartridge. Standard XLIM cartridges remain compatible with the XLIM Pro 4 but do not support the Anti-Burn function.

UNITECH 3.0 Cartridges for Improved Flavour

The XLIM Pro 4 includes two new XLIM ABT UNITECH 3.0 cartridges, designed to provide consistent flavour, smoother airflow and improved resistance to leaking.

OXVA states that its UNITECH 3.0 technology delivers up to 25% more vapour and a 25% smoother draw compared with its reference cartridge technology. After filling a new cartridge, allow sufficient time for the e-liquid to saturate the coil before vaping.

The UK kit includes two 2ml refillable cartridges:

• 0.6Ω XLIM ABT cartridge: Suitable for vapers who prefer a slightly warmer, more open draw.
• 0.8Ω XLIM ABT cartridge: Suited to a tighter mouth-to-lung (MTL) draw.

How to Set Up the OXVA XLIM Pro 4

1. Fill the cartridge: Open the filling port on your chosen XLIM cartridge and fill with suitable e-liquid, taking care not to overfill.
2. Allow the coil to prime: Close the filling port securely and allow the e-liquid to soak into the coil before vaping.
3. Insert the pod: Place the cartridge into the top of the XLIM Pro 4 device.
4. Adjust your settings: Choose a suitable wattage and use the airflow slider to set your preferred draw.
5. Start vaping: Inhale through the mouthpiece or use the firing button to activate the device.

When using an XLIM ABT cartridge with Anti-Burn protection enabled, the device will alert you when the e-liquid level becomes too low and stop firing until the cartridge has been refilled.
