Disposable Style Prefilled Pod Vapes
1st June 2025 saw the implementation of a disposable vapes ban in the UK. This means single use vapes are no longer allowed to be sold to cut down on the amount of waste being generated by these products. Following the ban all vapes, and e-cigarettes must be rechargeable and be either refillable or have replaceable prefilled pods. But fear not, many of your favourite vapes and been redesigned offering a near identical product but now with charge ports and replaceable pods.
You can find redesigned versions of the best-selling Elf Bar, Lost Mary, SKE, Hayati and IVG disposable vapes now in ban-proof designs offering the same vape experience, ease-of-use, and convenience just as before.
Now instead of throwing your vape away when the battery runs out you can recharge it and continue to reuse the battery section many times over before it will need to be replaced. Also, once the e-liquid in your pod is empty, instead of throwing the whole device away you can replace the pods, often for up to half the price of replacing the whole device.

Why were disposable vapes banned?
Disposable vape were banned to help combat the amount of unnecessary waste they were generating. They are very difficult to recycle, and many were ending up in landfill causing environmental issues. The redesigned versions allow the products to be reused many times over before needing to be replaced which will significantly reduce the number of plastics, metals and batteries needlessly being discarded due to vaping.
Is it difficult to replace vape pods?
No! While it may seem daunting initially, it couldn’t be easier to replace a pod in a prefilled vape. Most prefilled vapes use a simple design where the pod is held in place by magnets. Simply pull the old pod out of the device and slide a new pod in its place to refill the device and be back vaping almost immediately.
Are prefilled pod vapes cheaper than disposable vapes?
Yes! Many of the comparable devices are a very similar price to their disposable counterparts however when you come to replace the pods you’ll find that they are cheaper than replacing the whole unit.
Do prefilled pod vapes taste the same as disposables?

Do you need to charge a disposable-style prefilled pod vape?

Is a prefilled pod kit better than a refillable vape kits?
This really does depend on the preferences of the individual.
