How do I change a coil on an Aspire vape?

The method to change a coil in Aspire vapes depends on the device you’re using, but all devices follow a similar principle. Below you will find basic instructions on Aspire coil replacements for both tanks and replaceable pods, but we recommend referring to your specific device manual for further coil changing instructions.

Aspire Vape Tank: Aspire offer a range of tanks like Aspire K3, Nautilus 3 and Aspire AF tank, which are compatible with a range of resistance coils. Remove the tank from the device by twisting the tank section, open the tank to gain access to the liquid chamber (you may have to turn the device upside down). Tip the tank so all remaining e-liquid can escape, twist the base of the tank to disassemble the tank, and unscrew the coil from the base. You can clean the tank with warm water and washing up liquid if necessary making sure to fully dry all parts. Install a new coil and twist it in place to form a tight seal, then fill the tank with e-liquid. Before activating the device, you want to prime your coil meaning soaking the coil in e-liquid for 5-10 minutes before pressing the fire button and inhaling. How do I refill an Aspire vape tank?

Filling an Aspire vape tank with e-liquid is an easy process even for beginners. First locate the filling port this could be sliding or unscrewing the top section of the tank, or removing the mouthpiece of the refillable pod. Once you have located the refill port insert your e-liquid bottle nozzle and slowly squeeze in enough e-liquid to fill the chamber without flooding (overfilling the reservoir) with liquid. Reassemble all parts, including the top section of the tank or pods mouthpiece. Prime the coil or coil pod leaving enough time for the e-liquid to soak into the wicking material before vaping.

Aspire models vary in design which will slightly adjust the process of e-liquid refills. If unsure always refer to your manual booklet which offers detailed instructions and correct processes for specific Aspire devices.

How long do Aspire coils last before needing a replacement?

Aspire coils both replaceable coils and coils built-in to pods generally last between one to two weeks. Aspire make well-built coils which in many cases outperform other brands. The vaping duration per coil depends on factors including, puff duration, power emitted through your device, e-liquid choice and frequency of use. A well-maintained coil can last up to 14 days, but there is no exact timeframe.

Always prime new vape coils before use by filling your tank or pod with e-liquid and waiting up to 5 minutes for the vape liquid to fully soak the cotton. Once the coil is saturated with liquid you can inhale and experience the best possible flavour.
