Which Coils Are Best for MTL Vaping?
Higher resistance coils are best for mouth-to-lung vaping (1.8ohm, 1.8ohm AIO/NS).
The inhalation technique is similar to smoking a regular cigarette. Inhale into your mouth, then into your lungs.
Which Coils are Best for DTL Vaping?
Lower resistance coils are best for direct-to-lung vaping (0.7ohm Standard, 0.7ohm 2S Mesh, 0.4ohm kanthal).
The inhalation technique is slightly different to smoking a regular cigarette. Inhale directly into your lungs. This technique is also known as ‘sub ohm’ vaping.
How Long Will My Aspire Nautilus Coil Last?
Vape coils should last the average vaper between a week or two before the coil needs changing. Changing your coil regularly will provide the best vape possible. The coil is used to heat eliquid in your vape tank turning it into vapour, over time you will notice it isn’t performing as well as it once did.
When to Change your Vape Coil
- Flavour is reduced
- Vapour production is reduced
- Coil tastes slightly burnt
- Eliquid has turned dark and thick
- Gurgling sound/Leaking
Do I Need to Prime My Coil?
Priming your coil means allowing time for your eliquid to fully saturate the wicking material in your coil. If you press the fire button when there’s no eliquid in your tank the coil will burn. Priming your coil will prolong the life of your atomiser coils.
How Does My Coil Work?
The atomiser coil is made up of two parts. The coil and the wicking material.
Coil – Made of metal. Wrapped in a coil shape. The amount of wraps determines the resistance of the coil.
Wicking Material - Feeds eliquid to the heating element. Often made of cotton.
When the fire button is pressed the coil is activated. The coil heats up the e-liquid producing vapour clouds.
