Following the success of the original 0.4Ω Mesh RPM Coil, Smok have followed on and now brought out a range of RPM coils with different resistances to cater to everyone’s vaping preferences.
There are now 6 coils in the range all with different resistances and builds; Mesh 0.4Ω, MTL Mesh 0.3Ω, SC 1.0Ω, Triple Coil 0.6Ω, Quartz 1.2Ω, and a DC MTL 0.8Ω coil.
These coils are compatible with a wide range of Smok vape kits, including the RPM 4, Nord 4, Nord X, RPM 2, Nord 2, RPM 80, and RPM 40.

Smok RPM Coil Resistance Options
The original RPM 0.4Ω mesh coil is made for DL vaping delivering large clouds of vapour and fantastic flavour with the fast ramp up time you expect from a mesh coil.
The MTL 0.3Ω Mesh coil is very impressive because you can not normally achieve a MTL hit from a coil with such a low resistance but Smok have managed to achieve a power-efficient design from this coil leading to a longer battery life.
The SC (Single Coil) 1.0Ω coil is ideal for MTL vaping at lower wattage for a hit that is very similar to the experience of smoking a traditional cigarette with a discrete cloud of vapour.
The 0.6Ω Triple Coil when paired with high wattage and VG liquid will produce dense vapour clouds packed full of flavour.
If you are looking for a similar hit to a disposable vape, the 1.2Ω Quartz coil may be for. The resistance of this coil is most commonly found in disposable vapes, although the quartz coil will provide you with a warmer hit and a bigger cloud of vapour.
The 0.8Ω DC MTL coil may be the best choice for pairing with nic salt vape juices as it will provide a smooth and satisfying throat hit when combined.

- 0.3Ω, 0.4Ω & 0.6Ω coils are best suited for e-liquid with a VG concentration over 50%
- 0.8Ω, 1.0Ω & 1.2Ω coils are best suited for e-liquids with a 50VG/50PG concentration or with a higher PG concentration
