What is a Vape Kit?
A vape kit is a device designed to vaporise e-liquid, also known as vape juice, into a vapour that can be inhaled much like you might inhale smoke from a tobacco cigarette. Vape kits are designed to provide the user a dose of nicotine to help curb the cravings from smoking, but they can also be used with e-liquids that do not contain nicotine (0% or 0mg).
Although vape kits are available in many different designs and styles, they all more or less have the same key elements that work together to create the vapour; a battery, a vape juice tank and a coil or heating element.

What Are the Different Types of Vape Kits?
Pen Style Vape Kits
Pen vape kits are amongst the most popular vaping devices and have been around for several years now. They consist of a slim-line stick battery, which resembles a pen, and a refillable tank which holds your choice of vape juice. Most pen kits offer an MTL vaping experience and are best used with e-juice that is at least 50% PG and above.
Pen kits all have replaceable coils, meaning that when the coils ‘burns out’ you can replace it. Pen kits are the perfect place for someone new to vaping to start as they are easy to use and often have no fiddly setting to adjust, however, they are equally loved by long-standing vapers too.

Pod Vape Kits
Pod vape kits are a relatively new design on the vaping scene. Rather than a tank that holds the e-liquid that screws into the battery, pod kits use a simple ‘pod’ style tank that connects to the battery section using powerful magnets that hold it in place.
The main advantage of pod vape systems is their compact size and portability, they are often no bigger than an Elf Bar or Geek Bar, but are far more cost-effective, and better for the environment than throw away vapes.
Some pod kits offer replaceable coils, while others require the whole pod to be replaced as the coil is built into the pod. Pod kits work best with 50/50 e-liquids such as nicotine salts, and there are thousands of options available to suit any pallet or budget.

Sub-ohm Vape Kits
If you’re looking for huge clouds of dense yet delicious vapour, then you’ll need a sub-ohm vape kit. These vaping devices are tailored to more advanced users, as you’ll need the knowledge to get the best out of the devices and to use them safely.
Most sub-ohm vape kits come with a wide range of coil options, and the devices themselves are packed full of specs and features to provide the ultimate vaping experience. Sub-ohm devices are best used with VG vape juice, often sold in large 50ml or 100ml short fill bottles.
