How much e-liquid will I use in one day?
The amount of e-liquid that you use in one day depends on many factors. The type of atomiser and battery you’re using, the type of liquid you are vaping and the amount that you vape. It varies from person to person but we find that the average vaper will use around 2mls of e-liquid a day.
What is PG/VG?
PG stands for propylene glycol, which is the main ingredient in e-liquid and acts as the base for the flavour and nicotine. It is a chemical that has been used in inhalers for over half a century. It provides a bit of the ‘throat hit’ that you experience when vaping e-liquid. VG stands for vegetable glycerol, which is very similar to PG but is thicker and gives a greater volume of vapour. It imparts minimal ‘throat hit’. Most of TABlites e-liquid is 80% PG and 20% VG, but we also offer VG heavy liquids to suit preference. For more information please see the ‘Are Electronic Cigarettes Safe’ post in our ‘News’ section.
Is nicotine bad for me?
“Nicotine itself is not a particularly hazardous drug, it’s something on a par with the effects you get from caffeine… if all the smokers in Britain stopped smoking cigarettes and started smoking e-cigarettes we would save five million deaths in people who are alive today. It’s a massive potential public health prize.” - Professor John Britton, Tobacco Advisory Group for the Royal College of Physicians.
What are the ingredients of TABlites e-liquid?
TABlites e-liquid (including the liquid inside the disposable electronic cigarette and the TABseries cartomisers) contains: Propylene Glycol (PG) Vegetable glycerol (VG) Nicotine and delicious TABlites flavourings. All TABlites ingredients are either pharmaceutical- or food-grade. They are stringently quality controlled in-house and are regularly tested by independent parties at the request of ECITA (see ‘ECITA’ section). With TABlites you can be assured that what we say is in our products is exactly what is in them and the strength of the nicotine content is tested to ensure that it is correctly labelled. All our e-liquid and cartomiser packaging is sealed to ensure freshness and quality.
Do TABlites e liquids and cartomizers have a use-by date?
TABlites cartomisers have a shelf-life of around 1 year. TABlites e-liquid has a shelf-life of 2 years. For e-liquid ‘best before’ date please see label on bottle.
Can I mix e-liquids?
TABlites liquids can be mixed together. In fact we often recommend mixtures to customers that they may enjoy. (If you’re interested please see the ‘TABlites Cocktails’ section.)
My e-liquid has changed colour, is this normal?
Yes, it is perfectly normal for e-liquid to darken slightly over time as it reduces due to the heating element in our atomisers. If your e-liquid has become very dark over a very short period of time this may be an indication that it is time to change your atomiser.
Do TABlites products contain allergens?
TABlites e-liquid (including the liquid in disposable electronic cigarettes and cartomisers) may contain nut traces. If you are unsure or have any concerns please consult your doctor.
