The TFV Mini V2 (also known as TFV8 Baby V2) is a welcomed addition to Smok’s compact sub-ohm cloud tank range, this sleek tank has been modelled on the TFV8 Baby Beast tank, now with new and improved features including, a press button on the top cap to prevent accidental leakage, new compatible coils (Baby V2 A1 and A2), improved airflow thanks to the wider airflow slots, and larger heating area that offers faster heating for improved flavour and massive cloud production.
Smok TFV Mini V2 Tank
The TFV Mini V2 has a “V” carved on the top cap and base, as a symbol of the new design. If you have never tried Smok sub-ohm tanks before, you are in for a treat with this new and improved design.
The TFV Mini V2 tank comes supplied with two varying resistance coils for you to explore:
- Mini V2 A1 0.17ohm Single Coil (90W-140W/BEST: 110W-130W)
The Baby V2 coil features a large hole covered in mesh, for faster heating and improved flavour.
- Mini V2 A2 0.2ohm Dual Coil (70W-120W/BEST: 85W-105W)
The Baby V2 A2 coil features two holes covered in cobra mesh, for improved airflow and massive vapour production.
The coil is filled with antibacterial medical cotton, to replace organic cotton on previous Smok tank models. This great material wicks brilliantly and significantly reduces bacteria.
The gasket on the top cap has been moved to the bottom of the top cap, for easier access to the filling port, the design looks cleaner and helps to improve its leak-proof design.
The TFV8 Baby V2 tank features a patented locking mechanism, press the button situated on the top cap and rotate counter clockwise to reveal the filling ports. This excellent design helps to avoid accidental opening of the top cap section to avoid leakage. The filling ports have also been upgraded, now even larger so there’s more room to insert the nozzle of your e-juice bottle for faster and cleaner refilling with e-liquid.
The 510 connector has now been gold-plated, to strengthen rub resistance and electro conductivity, for an improved user experience.
The Smok TFV Mini V2 tank also boasts an improved airflow system, Smok has added one more airflow slot, so now there are 3 slots that have been widened, allowing more air in for massive vapour production.
The TFV Mini V2 tank comes supplied with a press-fit 16mm Delrin drip tip, designed to fit your lips perfectly, and wider to allow for increased airflow.
Refilling the TFV Mini V2 is a clean and easy task thanks to the new and improved tank design:
- Hold the tank with one hand, use the other hand to press the button, then twist the top cap counter anti-clockwise to reveal the large filling port
- Insert the nozzle of your high VG e-liquid bottle into the filling port, and avoid getting any e-liquid into the central airflow tube
- Twist the top cap to seal the tank. Wait a few minutes for the e-liquid to fully saturate the antibacterial medial cotton
- You’re ready to vape!
